PERPENDICULAR REALITIES ACT I: THE TOILET
Outdoor Installation
Pallets, Door, Door Frame, Toilet,
Lamp, Tiles Wallpaper, Diff. ToiletriesÂ
115 x 225 x 89 cm
This piece plays with the idea of creating a crack in reality that shifts our everyday rooms from a vertical to a horizontal state of existence. Standing in front of the installation, the viewer is confronted with society’s limited collective experience of reality. It is an exercise in expanding our perception of what we consider possible and impossible. It is questioning whether we limit our universe through not letting our minds wonder past reason.
